The portable device we reffer here means laptops are all not included . We just means USBs , Mobiles and Palm PCs or MP3 etc. In fact , I don’t think it effective to protect your laptops with any software from being stolen because the usually may format your harddrive first . Anyway , USBs may have more chances even if they may meet the same question as well . 
But please remember : the tips in this article is only a accessable way . Never try to use this without any attentions to your USBs .

Just yesterday , Fedora project just released the newest version of Fedora —Fedora 11 ! Although I think Linux is really a wonderful stuff , but if you wanna install it as the new version comes out , you may need many CDs because of its frequent releasement .
Today , I ‘ll show you another way to install Fedora 11 or maybe newer or older version with your USB device ! The USB to install has many advantages : no harm to USB , restore your data as you wish , you can format it when you don’t need it .
In fact , Fedora project release a official tools to help us to build a bootable USB . But please remember this software only support Fedora’s LiveCD files not DVD or other Linux distributions (I haven’t try it on Ubuntu etc.)…

What I wanna go first is : HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool is a wonderful USB format and repiar tool !
Any trouble with your PC ? You can’t boot your system , while there is still a lot of important information need backuping ? Anything like these …
Now you may need a tool to build a bootable device , a CD or a USB . I strongly recommend you to use you USB to do this because when you didn’t need it anymore , you can format back to a normal data storage device .
Today , I would like to share you a USB format tool from HP . Because somebody find it a little hard to find a place to download a newer version of this . Oh , Have I reffered that it can do the normal format work as well ? and sometimes believe or not , It can even heal some trouble of your USBs which can not be format !
