Howto install nvidia drivers on fedora 11

Greetings to you all , As for myself , I think Linux is an excellent example of Open Source products . And among different distributions , I think Ubuntu , Fedora and OpenSUSE are all great choices for you .

However , there are still some trouble in enjoying the 3D effect on Linux because of the commercial copyright of the Video Drivers ,which means most of them cannot add those drivers to their CDs even they are free of charge in fact . Fortunately , Nowadays It’s more and more  for us common users to install them manually .

Why my linux have no sound ? ( New solution !)

Yesterday , I post an article called “Why did my SUSE lose its sound ” (review here ) . And the method I told you seems remained when we reboot our system  . And today , I find a better choice to show you !

About the reason why Test Sound worked but the Banshee and Totem didn’t will not be mentioned here . We just regard it as a compatiblity problem of linux and Hardware . And today , I will post more pictures here ,if you have trouble to view them because of the speed of loading pictures , just pay more patience , please.

Before we start ,  check if you have the ALSA installed  (Three application : ALSA , ALSA ulit, and ALSA-firmware) ,if  not yet , install it first ! and Test your sound card with the method mentioned in the last article .

Why did my SUSE just lose its sound ?

Well , today I just received the a copy of evaluated DVD of SUSE Enterprise edition from Novell and I soon install it . Although , I have to say it takes me a long time but we should admit that it’s really a wonderful linux system ! Stable and reliable (Now you may learn why my blog is called “MySUSE” :) )

However , after a reboot , I find my SUSE lost its voice because when I run my Banshee , the timeline went on but none sound came with … So I installed ASLA . But nothing change .

How to burn a .ISO file of Linux to Disc correctly

I don’t think it a complex thing to burn normal data disc for you if your burner and its driver have been setup correctly. today, I will tell you something about how to burn/record a .iso file to a disc . Especially the iso file of Linux system ! OK, let’s go:
