Well , so much about Kaspersky in these post . But please pay a little patience because this may be the last post about this
.
And Today , I ‘d like to introduce you another product from Kaspersky Lab : Kaspersky GSI ( GetSystemInfo ) , which as its name shows , It will tell you if there is Incompatible Software, Malware Infection and Program Errors threats in your PC . Some guys would like to say it’s quite like HijackThis . However , Nobody likes to found out the problem between the thousands of Lines from Hijackthis Log file . So that’s why we should appreciate the work of Kaspersky GSI !

To use this is also quite easy ! Take 3 steps :
1. Download the latest version of Kaspersky GSI. There are 2 versions. The latest version 4 is for XP and Vista. As for the version 3 is for Windows 2000, NT and 98.
2. Run GSI and create a report log file. By default, the settings are set to collect recommended information from the system. This can be changed by going into Settings and moving the slide bar, or manually changing the scan criteria. Before running the utility on the system, it is recommended to close all other applications running on the system.

3. Upload the report log file to GSI Parser. Within a few seconds, GSI Parser will show you in easily readable format of the log file.
If you want to scan your computer for malwares, it is recommended that you change the settings to the highest before running the utility. Doing this will allow you to see files located in the \system32 and \system32\drivers directories (where malware likes to put itself). If GSI found any possible malwares on your system, you should see something like this in the summary screen:

You can also sign up for a free account at GSI which you can start rating the files and also write comments. GSI is not really a no-brainer utility. Just like any other utility that scans and analyzes your computer, it is recommended that you have some level of experience in computer to analyze the log file.
