Make sure whether the website you’re browsering is safe or not !

Do you really care about your data security? Let me check out, You have installed an antivirus software , or maybe more , with a firewall , or even more , another anti-spyware and adware assistant  program ?

OK , I’ll say that’s not enough ! We should care more about what we are browsering ! I think in our daily life , there are two main sources virus and Trojans enter your computer ,firstly from USB ,and the Secondly, Online download and Phishing . All I said above is just to let you learn how important it is to watch out for the content you’re browsering !

So how can we judge whether a webpage is safe or not ?  Some tips follow here:
1.Install a normal antivirus program first ! Yes , that’s right . have I ever mean it useless? In fact , even the pure antivirus program contains the function of checking the content of the webpages you’re browering ! It’s quite a misunderstand that the firewall should be the one which defends the online virus . but in fact, they do more on anti-spy activities but not anti the virus on the pages .

2.It’s recommended to install a web-security toolbar from some security companies such as AVG and Macfee . You can find them in the links below ,and what I have remmended to you are all free product , if you’d like a more reliable service , take a look at their premium program .

Macfee SiteAdvisor:

AVG LinkScanner:

Some Internet security Suite includes the function of this such as Kasparsky Internet Security 2009 , and Norton Internet Security 2009 etc. Check out details about them yourself .

3.Maybe you don’t quite satisfy about installing software to your system . So let me show you an online service , called OnlineLinkScan , you can use it here: http://www.onlinelinkscan.com . Just get the results after you enter the address to the input box ! Easy enough ,right ? Well , luckly ,even Google and Yahoo! provide the service to prove websites’ safety after they appeared as a search result , but do remember : Google and Yahoo! are not security-service provider , maybe some results are not very official.

4.Last but the most important one : care about yourself ! Never take it serious when some cheating tips or joke-programs appear ! And have a good surfing habit ~

Well , in this article , I won’t argue about which web browser is more safe  ( Firefox ? Or Chrome ? ) . But I think the Open-Source product seems more reliable to me , OK, it’s just my opinion . What about yours ? Post after me :P
